Our Approach

Helping you find safe, quality care

Before referring you to housing and care providers we meet with you to thoroughly understand your medical, social, financial and spiritual needs. We can meet you in your home, at the hospital or wherever is most convenient for you.

With a comprehensive idea of what you are looking for we introduce you to our pre-screen housing providers. Our screening process includes checking records with the Department of Social Health Services and the Department of Health, talking with residents, and performing on-site visits.

Beyond quality and safety we also keep detailed information on other aspects of housing and care providers in our database. If you are diabetic we can quickly find places that do insulin injections, and if you can’t go anywhere without your pets, we’ve identified places that are pet friendly.

Narrowing your options

The senior care industry in the Greater Seattle area is dynamic. New providers emerge almost every day while others close. In King County there are approximately 1065 adult family homes and 200 assisted living communities.

…We provide you with a consolidated list of three or four of your most appropriate options.

With so many options you may feel overwhelmed by the challenge of finding the right place. We make this easier by providing you with a consolidated list of three or four options. This list is not just automatically generated, but based on our personal knowledge of providers.

Once you choose a care provider there are many resources to help you transition. We can connect you with services you may need such as movers, counselors or elder law attorneys.

You are not alone

We are here to walk by your side as you search and decide on housing and care options. This process has a steep learning curve and our hope is that you will feel comfortable asking us questions.

We work hard to protect the dignity and promote the independence of everyone we serve. If you desire to stay in your own home and maintain your highest level of independence we can help you identify a reputable homecare agency. Also, we are careful to keep your personal and health care information confidential and secure.

  • Alice was very caring and compassionate, and realistically helped me understand all of the necessary details in finding the right home for my mother. Alice’s professional experience and expertise, and her knowledge about the world of elder care was priceless.

  • Arianne was incredibly helpful in showing us what was available within the requested perimeters that we set. She is knowledgeable , thoughtful, considerate, helpful and above all she listens not only to what we said but she paid close attention to our reactions even more than we did. As former Real Estate Brokers we know and greatly appreciate the value of someone knowing their housing market. In this very specialized senior living type housing market we would have been lost without Arianne.

  • Abby's warm and caring manner convinced us all quickly that we were in good hands. She was a great source of information. Her background as a nursing assistant and as an employee and manager in an assisted living facility gives her the ability to evaluate the different care options from a number of perspectives. She was very generous with her time, and took us on lengthy tours of the places that interested us.

We were very pleased with the depth of knowledge she has of the extended care industry. We were impressed with Abby's heart for seniors that is seldom found in people her age.

If a need should arise, I have no Doubt that Abby will provide willing and able assistance. She has all of the tools to help people make one of life's more difficult decisions.

  • Alice is a very caring individual and was thorough in obtaining an understanding of my parents needs so that she could give us our best options. Her knowledge saved me many hours of research.

  • As to the services received from Arianne: Nothing other than a wonderful cooperative person that accompanied myself and (in some cases) my daughter on tours of several homes. I met her through my daughter and she was a welcome companion on the tours with us. The helpful part was her ability to read my reactions and use that to guide me to the next destination. I didn't know that an organization like this existed. Arianne is a wonderful, caring individual that I enjoyed touring places with and letting me form my own opinions without trying to steer me in any direction.

  • The assistance our family received from Abby was superb, timely and thoughtful. She spent time with us to find out what our needs were then found the perfect solution for mom. Abby is very sensitive and knowledgeable and "feels like family".

We called upon Abby for assistance during our family's most difficult time, and Abby was absolutely perfect in caring for our needs in finding an assisted living situation for mom. Abby is so helpful otherwise we would have been clueless in our search for the appropriate living arrangement for mom.

Mom absolutely loves the assisted living where she now lives, and we couldn't have done it without Abby. Thank you for the peace of mind!

  • What a wonderful service! Abby is easy to talk with. She listened to my needs and concerns and has experience with the elderly and their issues. She returned phone calls and really did follow through.

I am very grateful for Abby's knowledge and assistance. Placing a family member in someone else's care is very difficult and extremely time consuming. I am afraid if Abby hadn't been available I would still be searching in the dark with no one to help me. I think her service is much needed!
